Abstract Title:
An abstract must have a short, specific title (containing no abbreviations) that indicates the nature of the investigation.
Author Name(s):
The submitting author is designated as the primary and presenting author. The presenting author does not have to be listed as primary, the presenting author can be listed anywhere in the author block. An asterisk should be used to indicate the presenting author.
Abstract Text:
Abstracts are limited to 1,950 characters (about 300-350 words). Spaces do not count as characters. This includes the text and not any graphics, but not the title or authors. All graphics (figures) and text-based graphics (tables) should be provided as 72-300 dpi, pre-sized .gif, .jpg or .tif images only, with a maximum width of 440 pixels (no limit on length). Black-and-white digital images should be in grayscale mode. Color images should be saved in RGB color mode.

NOTE:
A set of abstracts will be selected and invited to submit a full paper to the ‘Forest Products Journal’ where a special issue will be developed as part of the PTF BPI 2023 Conference.

Once your abstract has been accepted, please use the guidelines below to submit your abstract for the proceedings/abstract collection book. This submission will be peer reviewed before being compiled into the book. Send submissions to Timothy Young, PhD.
Special FOREST PRODUCTS JOURNAL Edition for This Conference
Selected abstracts will be asked to contribute to a special edition of Forest Products Journal (FPJ) dedicated to the conference. With their new online publishing, FPJ will publish online as soon as each paper is accepted. Submissions will open August 1 and review commence immediately, allowing rapid publication of results. Papers are due September 30, 2023. All papers in this issue will be open access and have paper charges of $1800 USD. Upon acceptance of all papers, the issue will be published.
